About Me
My Background
In love with art since 1978, I was clear this was my path as a small child. Educational background includes Ohio University College of Fine Art, Columbus College of Art and Design, on-the-job training in graphic design, self directed study, additional private and public instruction with professional painters.
My Medium
I enjoy more than anything, working in watercolor and oil. Charcoal and graphite are my foundational mediums and sometimes enjoy going back to basics, especially with offering the charcoal portraits.
I have found great purpose and honor in hand-etching images onto granite memorials and monuments.
My Inspiration
My inspiration is usually found in effects of light, atmosphere, and in the capturing of emotion and mood.
